Carriage:
Carriage by a third party (eg: Courier Service/Taxi) is arranged verbally between Karen's Cakes and the client. We do not ordinarily ship items using such services as the cakes are very fragile and may be impossible to repair in time, if damaged in transit.
We offer a deliver service for wedding cakes and the cost of this is agreed when the cake is ordered. We are unable to offer a delivery service for celebration cakes.
Customers who themselves appoint someone to collect from the shop on their behalf, take full responsibility for the cake once it leaves our premises. This also applies to people who collect personally.
Returns:
Owing to the nature of our products (bespoke confection) we regret that we cannot accept returns for reasons of hygiene and uniqueness of each cake.
